This is Guy Barlow’s copy and bears his signature together with his occasional very knowledgeable pencil annotation. Guy Barlow, 1878-1969, hailed from south of the border, and together with Steeple the name Barlow will forever be associated with the Cuillin of Skye. It seems they began their Cuillin campaigns back in 1906 and, having survived the war, began again in 1919. They edited the first rock climbing guide to Skye in 1923, a credit to their unique knowledge of this iconic mountain range. Barlow also climbed in Norway and many other places around the world but Skye was his first love. A bright attractive copy and a great association copy.
