Of Service It is extremely important to us that you are pleased with your order. If you are not completely satisfied the books may be returned in the same condition within seven days. If we have misdescribed the book we will also cover your return postage costs. We are always striving to continually improve our service, if you have any suggestions for improvement we would be delighted to hear from you. To Order We welcome orders by post or e-mail anytime and by telephone 0900-2000hrs, please leave a message in our absence and we will return your call as soon as we possibly can. Terms Prices quoted exclude postage/shipping which will be charged only at cost. We do not charge for packaging. We reserve the right to amend the price of any item, or to withdraw an item from sale at any time until confirming your order. All books remain the property of ‘Glacier Books’ until they have been fully paid for. Payment We ask that you pay promptly for your purchase unless previously agreed otherwise. Payment is accepted by the following methods, Cash in UK sterling, US$ and Euros. UK sterling cheques / drafts payable to ‘Glacier Books’. US$ checks / drafts payable to ‘C P Bartle’. Paypal / NOCHEX

Condition Of Books Please ask if you would like any more detail or information on any book. We can also easily email jpeg images of any books. The following abbreviations and terms are used when describing our books: Mint / M - As new, may have neat inscription. Fine / F - Almost like new with first signs of use. Very Good / VG - Average condition with some signs of use. Good / G - Below average condition with obvious signs of use. Poor or P - A worn book with some significant defect but still complete unless stated. + or – is used to indicate slightly better or worse than the above. Other abbreviations fep - front endpaper, t.e.g. - top edge gilt, a.e.g. - all edges gilt, pp - pages, sl - slightly, exlib - ex public library, o/w - otherwise, dw - dustwrapper, inscr - inscription by previous owner.
